When it comes to snacks that your hormones love you can not go past a delicious fudgey bite full of seeds.
Why are seeds so amazing for your hormones?! Pumpkin seeds are rich in zinc which is a mineral crucial for hormone health, it also plays a role in helping to keep your skin and immune system in tip top shape.
Flaxseed helps to get rid of estrogen the hormone that causes all those pesky symptoms such as bloating, irregular periods, weight gain and acne. It is unique in that the estrogen binds to the flaxseed and it is exited through the body via the digestive system.
Aim to have seeds every day to help your hormones, they are also full of omega fatty acids and fibre which is key to happy hormones.

In a blender or food processor add
1/2 cup whole grain oats
1/4 cup goji berries
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup cacao powder
1/4 cup coconut
2 tbsp cacao nibs
1/4 cup ground flaxseed
1/2 cup ground almonds
1 tsp vanilla powder or you can use essence
Pinch pink salt
Blitz until combined
Add in 3 tbsp pure maple syrup and 1/4 cup melted butter or coconut oil. Blitz until combined and roll into balls.
