The recipes in this book use ingredients that are natural and not refined.
I choose not to use refined flour, such as white our or white cane sugar, as they are so processed there is not much nutritional value left in them. Instead I have substituted these for ingredients that contain minerals, protein, fibre and fats so that you can have a delicious tasty treat and reap the benefits! If a recipe does not work for you then you can replace an ingredient for what you have. Experiment and see if it works for you.
